What's The Difference Between Status and Order Status?
Status is the current status of an individual registration.
The registration is basically a connection between a camper and a camp. It can be in one of several diffent states.
When you first register a camper, the status is incomplete. You need to provide additional information by using the Edit button to complete the registration.
When you've provided all the required information for a registration, it's status changes to ready.
When you've completed the checkout process (paid for your registrations), the status of all checked out registrations changes to received.
If you contact the Camp Registrar to cancel a registration, it's status will change to cancelled. It may be that cancelled registrations are not even presented to you.
Once campers are assigned to rooms, it may become necessary to put some campers on a waitlist. The capacity of the camp is limited, and while it is our intent to accommodate all campers, it simply may not be possible.
Order Status is the current status of the order (purchase) of your registration.
If you specified a payment method of Cash/Check, then the order status will be pending until payment is received. If you specified a payment method of Credit Card, and your payment fails for some reason, the order status will also be pending.
If you specified a payment method of Cash/Check, and your payment has been received, then the order status will be confirmed. If you specified a payment method of Credit Card, and your payment is approved, the order status will be confirmed.
If you've contacted the Camp Registrar to cancel your registration, the order status will be cancelled.
If you've cancelled your registration, the order status will change to refunded when a refund has been issued, or the credit card transaction has been reversed.
